Volunteer

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

Serving at our church isn’t just about helping, it’s about being part of a family, a community that grows stronger every time someone steps up to lend a hand. Volunteers are always needed, always appreciated, and always welcomed with open arms. Every smile shared, every prayer lifted, every task done behind the scenes makes a real difference in the lives of others and in the work of God’s kingdom. We are blessed by the countless hearts who already serve, and there’s always room for more, your time, your talents, and your willingness to serve matter here, and together, we make this church a place where God’s love is seen, felt, and shared.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Volunteering at Calvary Chapel Three Crosses is simple and welcoming! Start by visiting our Volunteer Page or stopping by the church office to see the many areas where help is needed, whether it’s greeting guests, serving in the children’s ministry, assisting during events, or helping behind the scenes. You can fill out a short volunteer form, and our team will connect you with the area that fits your gifts and schedule. No matter your experience or availability, there’s a place for you to serve, make a difference, and be part of our church family.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Volunteering with kids at Calvary Chapel Three Crosses is a rewarding way to make a lasting impact! We have opportunities in children’s ministry during Sunday services, special events, and other programs throughout the week. You can serve as a classroom helper, teacher, or activity leader, depending on your gifts and comfort level. To get started, fill out the volunteer form on our website under “Children’s Ministry” or stop by the church office. All volunteers receive training and guidance, so no matter your experience, you’ll be equipped to encourage, teach, and care for the children in our church family. For more information or to get connected, please contact Hannah Mireles, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator.

How do I volunteer with music?

At Calvary Chapel Three Crosses, there are a couple of ways to get involved in worship:
  • For instrumentalists and vocalists: If you play an instrument/sing and want to serve in our worship team, we would love to have you! You can fill out the volunteer form on our website under “Music Ministry,” and we’ll connect you with rehearsals and opportunities to serve during Sunday services.
  • For youth: Young people who want to serve in worship can join our Youth Worship Team. This team participates in our regular Wednesday services, giving youth the opportunity to grow in their musical and spiritual gifts while serving alongside the worship team in a supportive, encouraging environment.
No matter your experience or age, if you feel called to serve in any area of our music ministry, whether playing, leading, or assisting, please contact our Worship Director, Marty Martinez. He’ll help you find the best way to use your gifts to glorify God in worship!

How do I volunteer with students?

Volunteering with students at Three Crosses Christian School is a meaningful way to invest in the next generation. We have opportunities to serve during the school week, as well as at special events and extracurricular programs. Volunteers can help as classroom assistants, mentors, activity guides, or in other supportive roles depending on your gifts and experience. All volunteers receive training and guidance, so you’ll be equipped to encourage, support, and disciple students as they grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
